Go-Mine

Interactive terminal data explorer (TUI) for CSV, TSV, Parquet, and JSON files with SQL and JQ views.

Overview

Go-Mine is a fast, keyboard-driven terminal data explorer for inspecting and querying tabular and structured datasets directly in your shell.

Built with Bubble Tea and powered by the Golars columnar engine, Go-Mine handles CSV, TSV, Apache Parquet, and JSON without needing Jupyter notebooks or heavyweight desktop spreadsheet apps.

Features

  • Six Interactive Views: Table, Column Statistics & Distribution Histograms, Expression Filter, Full SQL Query Interface, Column Details, and JQ JSON Tree.
  • SQL Engine: Query loaded files using standard SQL (SELECT, WHERE, GROUP BY, ORDER BY, JOIN between files).
  • Vim-Style Navigation: Paginated browsing with j/k, / regex search, and column sorting.
  • JQ Query View: Collapsible, syntax-highlighted JSON tree explorer powered by gojq.
  • Exporting: Slice and filter your data in terminal, then export results to CSV, Parquet, or JSON with one command.
